CCR-V BT
 

ALPHA CCR BT is our range of compact Aluminum Profile Brake Resistors with protection class IP65. The resistor is mounted with a connection box, which contains cable glands and cable connection to the resistor.

The resistors are supplied with an internal 200°C thermostat.

The CCR BT resistors have a "High Temperature" warning label on the connector box and are optionally supplied with a Protecting Grating (PG).

The mounting brackets are equipped with thermal expansion compensation.

Connections

Temperature watch:

  • Connection 0,25 - 4 KVD 600V
  • Cable gland
    (clamping range 3,5-7mm)

Resistor

  • Connection 0,5 - 10 KVD. 600V
  • Cable gland
    (clamping range 9,0-16,6mm)
IP65 box mounted with cable connection for 600V 65A 22-6AWG. Clamping size for cable glands 3,5 - 7 mm, and 9 - 16.5 mm.

Pulse Load

The curves show the pulse load ability compared to the nominal load for the CCR resistors under the following conditions: The load is a periodic pulse load with a constant period time of 120 sec and a pulse width from one second to 40 sec.

For all other load conditions please contact DANOTHERM. By mean of individual thermal models we can simulate the rises of temperatures in the components and on the surfaces during and between the pulses.
