For use in Cabinets for Electronics, or other products, that require a minimum temperature or as prevention against humidity.

The heater has to be used in connection with an external temperature control.

The heater was originally constructed to heat an outdoor mobile telephone base station.

EMC
The heater meets the following specifications
DS 5104/EN 50093
EN 55022
(Voltage dips and interruptions in supply voltage Limits and methods of measurement of radio interference characteristics of information technology equipment.)

Safety
The heaters are constructed to meet EN 60335-2-30.

Heaters
The heaters include a self-reset thermostat for overheating protection.

The airflow in the heater is 110 m3/h at DP = 15Pa.

The heat element has low surface temperature to improve lifetime and minimize fire risks.

The surface temperature of the enclosure will not exceed 80 °C under normal conditions.

The average output temperature rise of the air is below 40K measured 50 mm from the outlet.

Lifetime
The specified lifetime of the heaters are 175000 h corrosion free (stand by) and 2000 h service time.
The heaters will start at -33°C.

The enclosures are made of grinder stainless steel.
The heaters are constructed to fit in the cabinets for suitable and safe assembly and optimum airflow.

Each heater is equipped with an IEC connector and an 800mm cable.

PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
The heater is a molded steel tube heater. This construction ensures low surface temperature with a uniform temperature rise with no hot spots. The wire is NiCr8020 is welded to stainless steel terminals; the tube is made of stainless steel and the mould Al-Si9Cu3Fe. The terminals are stainless steel as is the Snap-On connectors. The temperature rise on the heating element during normal load is 50% of the allowable. This ensures a very long lifetime.

The heaters can be on a stand by situation for most of the lifetime. To prevent the lubricant in the fans to dry out and to dry out the heating element of the basic cabinet it will be necessary to run the heaters once a year for 30 minutes. Under this condition the following can be specified:
