TERA -

t TERA is the name of our family of break resistors based on steel lattice elements. By using this technology we are able even at small series to find optimal solutions to start and break resistors at high wattage levels of more than 5 - 8 kW. The resistors are often used in connection with frequency converters.

t TERA Resistors have proven their quality all over the world for more than 30 years. Examples are crane brake resistors in aggressive salty environments and test resistors in test laboratories or earthling resistors in high voltage plants.

Discharging resistors for batterie

Individual requests from manufactures of batteries demands more special versions of discharging resistors. During the recent years we have developed a family of big discharging resistors of which some are naturally cooled and some are cooled by ventilators.

Grounding resistor

An alternative to both these solutions is to ground the neutral through an impedance. This can either be an inductance (arc-suppression or Petersen coil) or a resistor. The resistor limits the fault current to values that can be controlled in a defined way through out the time by protection components. The earthling resistors can be supplied according to the customers specifications with current transformers, switches etc.

Load bank ML 500

The ML 500 can be used any where and for any load tests where you need 3-phase load resistor banks up to 500 kW. This resistor is made of steel lattice elements and has 11 separated load steps. The ML 500 is connected to the power source by highly flexible 2 x 240 mm2 cables of 20m / phase placed on rolls on the trailer.
