Decharging Resistors

Decharging resistors are used in connection with capacity banks to de-charge the capacitors within a specified time to a certain voltage level after disconnecting the capacitors from the voltage supply. If the capacitor bank has more capacitor groups connected in series these resistors can be used as voltage dividers to adjust the voltage drop over each capacitor group.
