Compact, reliable and robust

All our steel grid resistors are built using steel grid plates which are fitted together into steel grid blocks. The choice of steel and alloy varies with customer requirements. The grids are manufactured by punching and laser-cutting machines and are then assembled into resistor blocks. Steel grid resistors are available for high-voltage and low-voltage applications. Even though requirements vary, minor customization enables standard Danotherm steel grid resistors to be used for most applications.

Danotherm steel grid resistors are compact, reliable, and robust. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Working voltages for CGC-LV and LAGC-LV series resistors are 1000 VAC / 1400 VDC. Power ratings range from 3 to 120 kW.

Neutral earthing resistors are available for 6 to 36 kV grid systems. The standard protection rating is IP23. IP55 rated resistors are available on request.

Filter resistors are available for 12 to 72.5 kV grid systems. The standard protection ratings range from IP00 to IP23.

Danotherm steel grid resistors use convection cooling. Typically, industry uses steel grid resistors as filter and brake resistors, gas and wind turbines, and railway applications.
